  • Activity increases as water temperature rises (and you need protection the most)

    One of our most important products. Back Up makes water wetter! Funny, huh?! Well it does. You can't see them, but there are tiny air pockets in the water. Water bugs swim through these airways to get the oxygen. When you add Back Up to the water, the pockets close and it drowns those pesty bugs! Not to mention that it's a broad spectrum algae preventative. All you need is 1 qt. per 25,000 to start the season and 2 oz. per 5,000 gals. every other week. (It's easier for me to remember if I cut that amount in half and put it in weekly.) Also a really good idea to add the weekly amount if you get heavy rains.
