    Reformulated Scale Inhibitor works four times better than our previous formula at preventing scale build-up from high calcium levels. Regular use of this concentrated formula prevents scale build-up on:

  • Pool surfaces and piping.
  • Filtration & heating elements.
  • Effective for up to four weeks.
  • Also prevents stains caused by iron, copper and manganese.

    Our Resident Chemical Expert says:
    BioGuard Kleen It is an acidic filter cleaner.  It works to strip calcium, scale, dirt and rust from D.E. cartridges and sand filters.  Just soak filters and parts for 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For sand filters, take all chlorine tabs or sticks out of the skimmer with the filter in backwash position and pour proper amount of Kleen It into the skimmer for a few seconds until the Kleen It  pulls into the filter.  Turn the filter off.  Backwash filter 15 minutes later until the water is clear.   Dress in old clothes when cleaning filters in Kleen It.  Very acidic means it is going to "eat holes" in clothes.  I also use it on my shower door in the bathroom.
