You'll love everything about BioGuard's Mineral Springs system. For starters, it's almost "hands-off," and takes only a few minutes a week to maintain. In fact, once you've begun the system the Beginnings, you only have to add the Renewal® product once a week. The Mineral Springs system is perfect for frequent travelers or vacation takers. Through proper use of the system, you can leave home and forget your pool while you enjoy your trip. Even better, with Renewal you can add advanced applications for weeks ahead. Add BioGuard's proprietary blend of elements and stable minerals to water, creating a total mineral bathing environment. You'll notice the difference immediately. Usage requires minerals to be present in pool water.

For Mineral Springs Beginnings, Apply one bag per 1,000 gallons of pool water at start-up or as needed to obtain proper mineral levels. Available in the new 27.9 lb. bag.

Our Resident Chemical Expert says:
BioGuard Mineral Springs Beginnings stands apart from routine pool salts because it contains a blend of elements to make your water soft, control scale build up and shield the water from the sun.  It dissolves quickly, making your initial start-up quick and easy.  The first time you start up your new salt system, you need to add 1 bag per 1,000 gallons of water.  I know it sounds like a lot, but it puts less salt in the water than there is in a human tear making the water very comfortable to your eyes.
