Why take chances of staining a new liner with iron stains when you refill your pool? Even though I can't detect any metals in my water, I would NEVER fill or top off my pool without putting in the proper amount of Pool Magnet Plus. It only takes one quart per 10,000 gals. of water when you refill the pool and about 1/4 of that when you top the pool off once every other week. I know it seems like just one more expense, but just think of how expensive it is to change an ugly, stained liner. In a concrete pool, you would have to drain and clean, but a stained vinyl doesn't usually clean up and would have to be changed. Using the Pool Magnet Plus ties up the metal in the water so it can't fall out of solution and stain your pool.
