Causes fewer odors than chlorine making it ideal for indoor pools
Designed for use in brominators
Our Resident Chemical Specialist says: Bromine Tablets are not commonly used in swimming pools because the product is vulnerable to the sun's UV rays which render it less potent. So mostly, they are used in indoor pools. The biggest plus is that it doesn't have the chlorine odor and gas off. The tabs are 1”, so they work really well in an automatic bromine feeder (also called a "brominator") You may need to shock if you have an overload of swimmers - just use Burn Out 35 and you're all set to go.
