New from Bioguard, Silk Guard actively attaches to hard water particles and removes them from your pool leaving behind a fresh and clean silky smooth swimming experience while eliminating harmful bacteria. Bio Guard Silk Sticks are designed to replace BioGuard's old Stingy Stick product. We also offer Silk Guard in 1 and 3 inch tablets to replace BioGuard's previous versions of 1" and 3" tablets.

Can't be compared with other brands of chlorine sticks.You could go either way, but I personally like the BioGuard Silk Sticks. Both types of sticks will sanitize the water and both will help with stabilizing the chlorine levels although some other brands use glue to hold their product instead of stabilizer. That's where the similarities end. Other sticks are done at this point, where the silk sticks and tabs have other chemicals in them to help tie up the metals in the water, help clarify the water and make it silky soft. Silk sticks are also more compressed to last longer, one stick should last up to 4 days in your skimmer. After the first few days of the pool being on the silk sticks, you will notice a definite difference in the way the water feels. I just LOVE that feeling. I'm all about the silky!
