Solar Sun Rings

The Solar Sun Ring is a passive solar swimming pool heating device made from two sheets of heavyweight U.V. resistant vinyl. The upper clear layer holds insulating air and focuses sunlight on the blue colored lower layer. The blue layer absorbs about 50% of the sunlight and converts it to heat. The balance of the sunlight is allowed to pass through for deep water heating. At night, the contained air acts as an insulating blanket to retain heat gained during daylight. There are six magnets to hold the rings loosely together for easy positioning that also help improve the clarity and decrease the hardness of the water. Each Solar Sun Ring measures 5 feet in diameter.

Only need 70% - 80% of pool covered to achieve maximum heating and insulation for pool.

Reduces Water Loss - Once your pool has reached adequate temperature, the Solar Sun Rings may be turned over to conserve water by limiting evaporation without significantly heating the water.

Reduces Chemicals Used - Neither water nor pool chemicals can evaporate through the Solar Sun Rings two layers of heavyweight vinyl. You will save water and chemicals about equal to the percentage of the surface of your pool covered.

Keeps Your Pool Healthy - By design, when the Solar Sun Rings connect to each other, a triangular space forms which allows some direct sunlight to go through the pool, significantly decreasing the odds of any mustart algae forming.

Easy To Clean - After removing the Solar Sun Rings from the pool, they are easily cleaned with a sponge and a mild detergent solution.

Attractive - The Solar Rings are a cool, clear, and see-through blue which still allows you to see into the pool.

"Very convenient and does the job. Easy to flip out of the pool and use the magnets to attach to the sides of the steel wall while pool is in use. Light enough and small enough for my wife to also handle easily. Takes a bit of experimenting to get the inner and outer inflations just right, but that is a minor inconvenience. Have had no algae problems. Would buy again. "
