Solar Pool Heating System - Above Ground Pools Manufactured by the leading solar heating company, these solar systems are super efficient and long lasting. Solar pool heating is the most economically attractive option for pool heating and for extending your swim season. Solar energy is more economical over the life of the system than a pool heater that uses electricity, fuel oil or propane gas. Compared to other pool heating technologies, a solar pool heating system pays for itself within 2 to 4 years. These standard above ground solar heating panels will raise your pool's temperature 10° or more using the sun's free energy. When used in conjunction with a solar blanket, it is all the heat you will need - no expensive heater to buy and maintain, and no costly gas bills. The SunGrabber solar heating system comes in two models: (1) An economy system with a 2' x 20' collector panels for pools that are looking for some supplemental pool heating and (2) a deluxe system with two or more 2' x 20' panels for pools that want a total pool solar heating package. Both systems can be mounted on the ground, on a rack, or installed on a nearby roof (roof mount required). Both systems are easy to install, include 1 1/2 inch headers, and come complete with instructions. All panels listed below in the drop down menu are sold as panels with panel connecting kits only and do not include the plumbing/diverter valve equipment connector kit required for new solar heating installations. This plumbing/diverter valve equipment connector kit can be purchased from the equipment drop down menu and added to your solar panel choice. All other equipment can be purchased independently through selecting from additional drop down options.
